Fuck Pity:
A Crip Queer Manifesto

Deadline: Jan. 21, 2000.

Editor seeks poetry, artwork and essays reflecting the experiences of transgender, bisexual, lesbian, gay and/or queer-identified crips of all abilities, races, classes and genders for radical anthology. The Manifesto will give voice to the complexities of existence in an ableist world, and the linked nature of all oppressions.

Subject matter may include anything related to our lives, stories and identities as people who are fighting the mainstream notions of (dis)ability and sexuality. The Manifesto seeks to articulate experiences of being crip and queer, and the effect of these identities on our lives.

Art: High copy photographs or photocopies. Up to five pieces. Do not send originals.

All submissions should be typed or word-processed, double spaced, and should also include a brief bio/cover letter. Please include your name and address on each page.
